Presumably you think innuendo is a place they stick injections

BBC happily reported as news the Coutts' lie about Nigel Farage not meeting the financial threshold as a reason for closing his accounts.

I will actively seek changing my Natwest account to another bank.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Here's the headline story on the BBC website this morning :
[Link]
"Children waiting over a year in pain for NHS tooth removal".
Just to illustrate the story, they have helpfully put in photographs of a child in a dentists chair and another photograph (allegedly) showing a child in pain. I mean, FFS, this is barely above the level of the Sunday Sport in terms of journalism and editorial acumen.
This is the sort of base journalistic padding that the BBC is full of.
Maybe this plague of toothaches has something to do with the food they serve at McDonalds ?

If her dental hygiene is of the same standard as her hair care seems to be....... no surprise there then!

A few years back I had bad toothache and couldn't get an NHS appointment. I went private and was seen and fixed same day.

Of course the NHS dental system is broke and should be fixed but I am amazed by this story. So this little girl has constant teeth pain and her parents are still waiting for an NHS appointment.

Are they for real? If I had to I would borrow the money I don't think we are talking thousands here.

I had an ISA with Yorkshire Building Society, who closed a vicar's account because he remarked on them promoting transgender ideology.

I have now transitioned the ISA to another provider.

You can access emergency dental care if you are in severe pain by calling 111.
I have used this. [Link]

We have this locally too. There is a NHS clinic in Truro specifically for urgent care. I used it myself some years ago.

It's not paedophilia for a start. The inquiry into the BBC attempted to find numbers and is clearly available. You seem to have failed to have read it as Teddy Eagle pointed out several times. I believe Saville alone was 174 cases. Add in the loads of others and it's hundreds more.

It’s unlikely to be paedophilia at McDonalds unless they are also breaking employment law! The enquiry you refer to wasn’t into the BBC itself. It was an enquiry into Savile’s activities there and why they remained undiscovered. Dame Janet Smith identified 72 victims of sexual crimes. Not 174 but still 72 too many. She was scathing about the culture that prevailed and demanded action. Which the BBC accepted and delivered. What was not alleged was that BBC as a corporation knew. The report says there is no evidence that any senior member of staff was aware of Savile’s conduct.

That people want that to mean something else doesn’t mean it does.

The McDonalds exposures are different but they are current and concerning. As I anticipated there are now hundreds more being revealed as people come forward, some of which are very serious and will take up a lot of police time.

That few here believes the truth about this only says anything about the attitudes that prevail here.

The BBC haven’t spun this anymore than I have. They accepted their failings and dealt with them. What on earth more could they have done?
