Hoof engages with nick more now through indirect methods than he did when he used the direct approach. Bizarre.

They're just one of the reasons I don't vote anymore.

I was born and raised in the Selhurst/Thornton Heath area and I was taught to be accepting of other cultures by my parents. Which was quite unusual from the parents I had from their era. They were from the late 1920's/early '30's. Which brings me to Ukip. I don't vote anymore but if someone had a gun to my head in a polling booth, I still wouldn't vote for them. I'm still not keen on Eastern Europeans though. So shoot me!

I've already given you a counter argument. But when you see one you can't counter back, you just ignore it and carry on spouting rhetoric. Borrrrrring! How is quoting what the director of the leave campaign rhetoric? Posters have intimated that the 350m quid NHS bus claim was hardly believed by most. I was responding to that. Tsk. Rhetoric.

I think the wider point is that anyone who takes as gospel anything a campaigning politician says before an election or indeed a referendum is a f***ing imbecile.

No the point of this is that a lot of people believed the NHS thing (imbeciles, every last one of them eh?) and it affected how they voted, as corroborated by the Leave campaign director in the earlier quote. Rather than address this you move the goalposts.

I personally haven't lost, although the increase in food prices will make the budget tight. We will see what the future brings. Hang on a minute, food prices will go DOWN on leaving the EU as we are out of the protectionist market and can go for cheaper products globally. The EU puts tariffs on food imports and subsidies agricultural production which adds tot he cost of our food. That will now be gone. Edited by Penge Eagle (18 Feb 2017 10.55pm)

Just like you don't know for sure either. However, I would say it's perfectly reasonable to suggest the people who voted for Brexit would have done so if it said £220m or £350m on the bus. It's still a colossal amount! You you genuinely believe people based their entore opinion on the EU from a marketing slogan on a bus? Do me a favour! Edited by Penge Eagle (18 Feb 2017 10.46pm)
