Ignore the personal nonsense WE; the truth of the matter is that large numbers of people who post, especially vis a vis "political" matters hate being called out for the racist and bigotry they often express. You, very successfully, call it out on a regular basis - if you were not posting, the site would simply be an echo chamber of unchallenged, often far right, views. Keep going if you still have the energy!

Thanks for the support and kind words. Much appreciated.

Chief Exec of McDonalds UK is called Alastair Macrow.

Was he simply Alastair Row before he took the post?

Also, 177,000 employees in the UK alone! That's about half the civil service (if an answer on House of Games can be believed). A staggering number so 100 found by the BBC is probably about par for the course in an organisation that huge.

Still 100 too many, mind.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

That’s what tends to happen with employees who spend a large part of their lives working and those with predatory instincts finding opportunities.

Every employer would accept it.

But not every employer gets pages of defence.

The BBC has no credibility in exposing sexual abuse or harrassment claims - they should pass any evidence they have onto The Sun.

As MacDonalds is such a cherished institution the Police may have conflicting interests.

Nor, from what I recall, did anyone complain they, or their children, were abused by Savile all those years ago. Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen though and if you heard the former employee telling her story on Radio 4 this morning you would have little doubt it is true. McDonalds have accepted that there is a very widespread problem involving young part time staff and older full time supervisory staff. Their whole set up is an open invitation to abuse and abusers.

So instead of trying to turn a truly valuable piece of investigative journalism into yet another opportunity to have a pop at the BBC maybe some credit is due for them having learned and now finding and exposing abuse elsewhere. Or do you only care if it happens at the BBC?

Clue is in the thread title. Personally, I could view this journalism as a bit of a distraction from their own activities. "Hey, look at this. Some other employer is abusing some of their staff too ! it's not just at the BBC"

Far right racists complaining about BBC perverts and paedos simply to suit their twisted and bigoted political agenda. Using such sensationalist and bias sources such as The Guardian, The report into the BBC and the BBC website. Simply populist clap trap and barely hidden latent fascism.
