Good post. My son is stranded in Essex with his girlfriend ( he seems happy) and my daughter is in a 1 bed flat with no open space in Guildford, not being able to see them is very distressing. Daughter going a bit stir crazy and who can blame her I’ve found Zoom is pretty good for staying in touch with friends.

Including, Spain and Italy, they sensibly took up the offer that our own government failed to respond to, do you fancy a warehouse or three full of PPE for our hospitals and carehomes? We are based in the midlands and ready to deliver, anyone in the government interested? Matt? Anybody? Ah ok, we have to shift it to europe then............SOLD! I guess matt and co thought there was no rush....only buy from the centre of our island in a real emergency, much better pr to send out the raf to Turkey on a mission.....ooops And your factual information comes from.........

Science and politics don't mix. The edges have become blurred to the point where mis-truths are spoken by MP's and scientists. Both are after financial gain. But who is paying the price ?
I disengage, I turn the page. |

This is so sad. You take care. One of the nicest things to come out of this is how people are discovering that whatever our differences we have much more in common than that which divides us. Here in the UK anyway! The USA is a whole different scenario! I am lucky and have a garden which fronts a lane which is on a very popular route for people taking their daily exercise. Just about all want to stop, chat, make sure all is OK and offer help where needed.

I don't believe that's in any way true at the moment. Everyone seems to be united in their determination to find the best answers they can. In our country at least!

And indeed anyone else that chooses to look in according to reports... There is a chance but I think it’s more risky for meetings which are arranged/advertised on websites rather than by email.

That’s true but according to the experts a vaccine either will or won’t be developed in 6, 12 or 18 months. The spike is either past, present or in the future. Herd immunity either is or isn’t a possibility. Catching the virus either does or doesn’t provide immunity. Lockdown was either a good or a bad idea. Masks either should or shouldn’t be worn. Hospitals either do or don’t have any spare capacity. Apart from a few other contentious points they’re in complete agreement.
