Why don't they execute Trump. A bullet between the eyes would have spared the USA 4 years of this s***e. You just can't rely on the USA anymore. He is far more guilty than anyone on death row. Call for nursey Steely, it's time for your medication.

160 people executed since 1975 in the United States have been found subsequently to be completely innocent. Trumps rush for blood will probably add to the total.

The justice system in the US is quite shocking. Most people convicted of murder are done so under state law which means 50 different varieties. Police procedures are largely dictated by budget so don't get arrested in a one horse town CSI it aint. The right to appeal is also all over the place and in some cases resembles the UK in the 1970's in that you can only appeal on a point of law rather than new information exonerating your client. Thankfully today it is a lot easier for people in the UK to appeal and the state seems more ready to admit it made a mistake something the US could learn from us. I have no doubt there are many innocent people in jail in the US because they can't afford a decent lawyer. Edited by Badger11 (24 Dec 2020 9.32am)

How are you going to pay and who wants the case anyway. I don't know how many but subsequent DNA testing has found no match at the crime scene after some executions.

The innocence project?....if I remember that was started by one of the dna lawyers who helped OJ Simpson escape two murders.....that w***er has blood on his hands. As for the broader point on proving people on death row innocent I have no issues with that if these are actual strong cases. However, I suspect that a lot of work has also gone into releasing actual murderers over the years out of misplaced zeal and I find that disgusting as some went on to murder again.
