The Sunday press are reporting that Les Reed has set a deadline of 10 days to appoint a new Manager at Soton and that both FdB and Mauricio Pellegrino are lined up for interviews, so clearly we are bottom of the pile, it seems no one decent fancies the Managers job at Palace, why is that?, is it a lack funds to invest in the transfer market, as clearly that is what turned McInness away from the Sunderland job or is it the anachronistic set up at Palace with SP too hands on with football matters due to the lack of any director of football, I know some think SP walks on water and I acknowledge that he has done great things in the past for the football club but 8 managers in 7 years is a bit much and points to a problem, the past is the past and can't be changed the future can!
