I think this is show boating by Everton.

They know we are looking for £80m. Why bid £55m especially with the Utd clause in place.

While they do seem to be making an effort to break into the Top 6 they are still a work in progress and unless they offer Zaha ridiculous wages I can't see him going there. Nor do I think they will match the valuation.

Everton are also planning a move to a new £500m stadium so are unlikely to have this much available to spend on one player.

Because they are testing to see if we secretly want to sell.

If it is our intention to cash in on him then, ultimately, we might well take a lower offer.
If we genuinely don't want to sell then we will either hold out for the asking price or not sell at all.

FAKE BLOODY NEWS.

1/4 on Skybet that he will move. Of course it is, they print this garbage so people like you lot believe it and put money on it.

It is all clickbait and revenue making for their betting sites.

Stop believing this s***e.

I thought Wilf preferred to stay in London and wanted Champions League football. He will end up going to Chelsea next Summer. About time the club said something me thinks...

I do not believe these Sky "sources" exist

Everton haven't improved much in the window, with Lookman out and Delph in being the only significant moves. They lack a goal-scoring striker and their defence needs reinforcements. Unless they bring in 3 or 4 quality signings I can't see them doing hugely better than last season. No way are they anywhere near CL material as it stands, with Arsenal and Man United, and even Leicester and Wolves, arguably in a stronger position going into the new season (excluding last season's top 4). Unless things change I would say they're an outside bet for Europa League spot and maybe the league cup, but could equally end up below us if we work some last-minute transfer miracles.

That is much more likely explanation.

On top of that, their new Transfer Show has next to nothing to report on.

He is one of the most high profile players in the news at the moment so they will do whatever they can to keep him in the news so they just make things up.

Ha Ha, very good

Wasn't it £60 m + Tosun a few days ago. Shows how much they rate him

Gotta say with them pipping us for both him and Niasse + the Bolasie deal, Everton have done us a few favours lately
