People can slag him off as much as they like but the simple matter is SP genuinely cares about the club.

H&B would be out of here like their arses were on fire if they could muscle in at Chelsea/Man Utd/Liverpool - and they have been linked with all.

As for Textor - his latest efforts tell me everything i need to know. Read up about Ernest Nuamah - signed at Molenbeek for around €23M and immediately loaned to OL.

I would love the excitement of signing Mbappe on the final day of the window but unless H&B put their hands in their pockets it will never happen.

I am a realist but I still support the team though. I wonder if all the people who are on here screaming about Parish and bemoaning Roy being manager wouldn't be better off supporting Chelsea or West Ham?

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

I used to see a guy who complained about the team every week. He called them bloody rubbish. Often, I agreed. It didn't mean he needed to support Man City. He was voicing an opinion, as a fan would.

Is Jesse Lingard a free agent ? might be worth a punt . I know there is attitude problems but Roy might sort him out . Not for me personally but has had his moments .

Read your post with interest until the last paragraph. What do you think gives you the right to tell other fans who they should support and how they should feel about the way it’s run. You are most definitely not a superior supporter, you are just the same as everyone else.

And I just voiced my opinion about people who do nothing but complain.

As I am entitled to do.

When the team plays badly we all moan. Most don't moan all the time.

i think i suggested they might be happier supporting another club. I have the right to say it the same as they have the right to say the things they say.

No idea about Wimbledon. I'd suggest you look it up but I don't think research and facts are your thing.

The only advice I can give is that you having a very simplified understanding of an issue doesn't make that issue simple.

Of course, we're so hard done by, there's a media conspiracy against us, we're on MOTD last every week, no other clubs will understand the issues we have, every other club has it easier than us, Croydon Council hate us, we should be grateful when the whole world is out against us.

Fesk me your posts are getting sillier by the day. Thank the good lord you have nothing to do with running the club.

Watch the interview that Parish gave recently about what he wanted for Palace.
He refers to watching Arsenal at the old Highbury and Palace at Selhurst Park.
He noted how Arsenal had moved to the new 60,000 stadium while Palace remained in a (relatively) dilapidated stadium with significant underinvestment.
He thought why can’t Palace progress in stadium terms?
He had this as an ultimate objective after taking over, noting that increased capacity and more corporate revenue will enable Palace to compete more successfully.
I suppose he will be partly judged by how successful he is in this objective.
Of course it’s not solely down to him as there are other parties to satisfy including the council, Sainsbury’s and affected residents and there’s no little matter of the funding too.
Could anybody could have got us there quicker?
It’s one of those questions that’s impossible to answer.
Perhaps more wealthy owners could have offered ‘incentives’ to affected parties to oil the process and quicken the development.
There seems little point in speculating.
It’s reasonable to point out though that other clubs have managed the various necessary hurdles in relation to their stadiums.
Parish himself acknowledges that he doesn’t get everything right but overall he’s doing a very good job in my view.

Clearly this transfer window has been very disappointing. We have again failed to bring in a goal scorer and as we can’t score that it itself will mean that we will again struggle this season. Why we wasted best part of 20mil on a goal keeper who MU have replaced for 5mil is beyond me and on the face of it seems rather reckless. The CD is also strange when our major defensive weakness is R & LB. I’m sorry but SP has had his time and if this club is to progress then we need a more innovative leader who can walk the talk rather than a leader who is more interested in developing his own celebrity image. Say what you like about our investors, it’s a fact that they are amongst the EPL wealthiest but they are not prepared to put more money in this club and ideally they want out so they can invest in another EPL club. The problem is that whilst SP stays in post no other investors are interested in coming aboard.

He is Pat, it’s just that it’s football and therefore emotions run high.

If anyone had said in the weeks before that fateful Sheffield Wednesday game ‘we have a buyer’ we’d all of rejoiced of course. If they’d also said they’ll oversee us getting promoted and staying in the PL for at least the next decade to become a well established mid table side, throw an FA Cup final in, we’d of booked them a cab to the Maudsley.

Problem being that Parish isn’t as ludicrously rich as some in football and therefore any progress we make will be painfully slow and seemingly unable to secure solutions that seem so simple and obvious to the average fan.

We all know what we want for the stadium, we all know the players/managers we need and want, therefore when the likes of a transfer window rolls round and we fall quite short of most people’s desires, the floodgates for criticism and complaint open. That’s not a dig at anyone, it’s only natural. I would suggest however that the lack of a winger, fullback(s) and possibly striker coming in shouldn’t snowball into a mass discussion on whether we have the greatest or worst, most dastardly owner in the history of Christendom.

I’m any instance, we’re far better off than I’d imagined we would be and whilst natural to commentate and desire, shouldn’t spin all out of control. Wolves tomorrow, COYP!!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
