We used up a lot of games trying out different strikers, I would like us to decide on one and give him the confidence of being a regular starter.
We cannot be in the market for a proven 20 goal a season player or 15 for that matter because We couldnt afford it and If he was that good he would want to go somewhere else.
I personally would go for Mateta, but where does that leave Edouard, he wouldnt be my first choice wide either. He also needs a good run in the team to gain confidence which is unfortunate having two players in the same boat.

In my view Edouard is a better forward and striker than Mateta and will be our main striker by the end of the upcoming season

He certainly looked better in the early months of being here. Mateta looked like a Sunday League player until Christmas.

However, since then their progression curves have been going in very different directions. If Mateta improves as much over the next 6 months as he did the last, Edouard won't get a look in.

Hopefully Edouard relocates his mojo soon. If he doesn't he may be a bit part player.
