The observation may be made that if something is based upon 'values' then anyone can have them and hence it is a contradiction to call that thing 'unique'.

It is of course an insult to the European ethnicity or 'white' person or 'black' person to say they don't exist but to then claim another ethnicity does.

If someone wants to be a fool and take the line that race doesn't exist then sure.....However that then means there are no 'unique' aspects to any ethnicity if anyone can become it

While you can convert to Judaism and be accepted by some looser denominations unless you have Jewish ancestry you won't ever be accepted as Jewish by all of them and it is a lie to claim otherwise.

You can't officially become genetically 'Jewish'.....Just in the same way you can't become 'white' or become 'black' or anything else that is a genetic reality. If someone has mixed ancestry this is of course a more nuanced issue that can be specified individually.....That mixed ancestry is actually very relevant to the Jewish question as many of them fall into that sphere.

As for how many Jews are of significant mixed European ancestry I couldn't say to be sure. However 30 percent? Mmmm..unlikely.
It's a fact that a massive percentage of their present population descends from those who immigrated from Europe after the Belfour declaration of 1917. When people think of Israeli Prime Ministers they look much more European than North African.

Genetics are not 'feels' or 'values'.

As has been shown on Hol genetically the people who claim to hail from Palestine or Israel both come from Canaanites who inhabited that land 3000 years ago.

Within that linage they are an offshoot of Phoenician people as are all indigenousness middle eastern, North African, Levant peoples.

So the reality is, to claim any realistic sort of Jewish heritage you have to have a reasonable percent of Phoenician genetics from ancient Palestine....otherwise it's hippy BS.

Certain posters can give hippy like interpretations of what an Israeli is but the reality is that being naturalised as a citizen of Israel is one of the hardest naturalisations in the world...Next to Japan. For that very reason that they have no desire to destroy themselves.

So I prefer instead to default to what the reality shows.....not what some plastic thinks.

No, you mix in political with the racial and what are you suggesting here?.....that recogntion that out groups exist shouldn't happen. Isn't this a denial of reality...the very route we are going down.....that's communism itself and has been done in the past and how do you enforce that without violence anyway? Because it had to be and it's being done now.

Every path leads to violence, because it has to be enforced. It's just about choosing the least worst system.

Every single group in history, be it religious, atheist or racial or political has murdered.....The Holocaust was racial, the Holodomor was political.

What happened in Israel wasn't 'blood and soil ethno-nationalism' instead it was religious and soil ethnonationalism.

As has been shown to be the case the genetic claims to Palestine are from the Canaanites, which both Jews and Palestinians come from.

If we are going to criticise what Hamas did the other week...and I do because it was barbarous terrorism then it's little different to what Jews did to them in 48, just on a far smaller scale.

It's what they have been doing to each other ever since.....but you only get to hear about it when the megaphone wants to declare it.

When someone has a predetermined attitude to support they will trawl every ocean until they find something that can be interpreted to support it.
