Shame Sako went off or we would have won easily.
We were dynamite up till then. Plus his slow departure affected Tompkins re the penalty.
Hope he is not too bad injured

I think back to those 2 penalty misses in added-on time !
I think an average of a point a game from now on should be enough to see us in the PL next season.

Definitely enough IMO. 39 points.

Looking at next 5, I'd be delighted with 5 points.

Their team at the weekend was their second string. That team last night had many first team regulars. We were poor and we got an away point. Prior to Roy, over the last two years how many times have we said that?

Awful game from a spectator's point of view but you're right not too long ago that would have been a classic "Palace lose in the 90th minute" game.

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

PVA a good signing by Big Sam there is a rumour he is still interested.

An option available to us is to play him further forward, even as front man, as we have Souare a proven left back.

Think he is a goal scorer.

Van Aanholt was terrible last - he was in clear crossing positions around 7 times and each and every cross was a terrible delivery. He was unmarked and free several times but chose to back pass.
Cabaye then chose not to pass to him when he was in space and I don't blame him. Defensively he wasn't too bad. Put loads of pressure on fosu-Mensah on the other wing to make things happen and we nearly got caught out.
Cabaye, McArthur, Townsend and Kelly had good games, Tomkins tried hard. Benteke scored but missed other opportunities. Wilf looked jaded. A lot of our play was crap - so was theirs.
The positive that I would get from the game is that we were well-organised and we were aggressive in and around our box [which is where Arsenal bullied us}. Roy isn't doing a bad job but, dare I say it, he looked downright tired at times last night.

He doesn't like the evening games, normally wrapped up in bed watching Game of Thrones with a Horlicks

I can think of plenty of people who've been removed from this site over the years for being (and I'm choosing my words carefully here) considerably less relevant than this bloke (orpinton eagle and Dave Making spring to mind). I'm fairly sure that one of us wouldn't last two seconds doing the same on a SUFC fan's forum. It would be OK if there was an ignore button on here, but as there isn't...

Just 2 questions .

-do you go down pub and drink 10 pints?
-do you get absolutely plastered?
