This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle They've shut down his FB, good! They've lost a means of tracking how many followers he's got and made him a martyr. If what he says wasn't true and he wasn't a threat he'd be ignored. They're shutting him down because they're rattled. I think it's time he put the crusade against Islam on the backburner to a degree, we can see he's informed and correct about that. I want him to talk about wider issues and stand as an MP, or at least be involved with a party we can vote for. UKIP are dipping a toe but we need something concrete. The man is a brave patriot and a hero. #iamtommy.

if there was no islamic terrorism killing the innocent in the UK and grandstanding (including standing at an army parade and goading the squaddies) , there would be no tommy. if there was any sort of deference to the wishes of the UK population on the subject of immigration, there would be no tommy. we live in ugly times. the government stripped that isis girl of her citizenship. Do you think they would have been so bold just five years ago ? Edited by PalazioVecchio (27 Feb 2019 5.48pm)

It's all so criminally stupid.....short term cowardly thinking making everything much worse further down the road. There's an old Greek saying, 'society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.' Sadly we haven't had that since before the sixties. This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle I’m seriously wondering whether the Islamic Extemists are switching tactics and backing off the attacks to play the long game. They are clearly winning that anyway and violence probably brings them unwanted attention from the likes of TR

I’m seriously wondering whether the Islamic Extemists are switching tactics and backing off the attacks to play the long game. They are clearly winning that anyway and violence probably brings them unwanted attention from the likes of TR The number of thwarted attacks (thank god) has kept the powder dry. You notice that in how the manner of attack changed to fewer numbers in the conspiracy and sometimes just the single individual. The intelligent ones will be able to work stuff out and that's the nature of how the insidious predator/prey dynamic works.....tactic is met by counter tactic. Our intelligence services need far more resources than they have.....and we already put large sums into them.....but it's Tommy Robinson and people with union Jacks that the left direct their anger at.

Our security services are stretched and there is the very real possibility that they will miss someone. Personally I would deport all non British terror suspects after a judge has reviewed the evidence against them. This will not stop the extremists but if we can reduce the number by a few thousand it will certainly help our overworked police and intelligence services. I doubt this will happen as these days the bar to deport someone is set too high. I yearn for the days when the home Secretary would simply say we don't like you and that was that. Living in this country is not a right it's a privilege that we should be able to withdraw. I see today some Albanian scum who is a murderer that we cannot deport brutally assaulted his wife. What do you have to do to get deported these days? If Sajid Javid has any sense he will campaign on this issue when the Tory party leadership comes up he has made a good start as Home Secretary and I think he can win if he gets tough.

I mean really, WTF? They hold the megaphone and it's what they want to present. Islamophilia.......God knows, what Hitchens would have thought.

Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Feb 2019 10.14pm) Your a good man Stirling. I think there there are a lof of people like us that really don’t know how to mobilise. I’m f***ing stumped but have thought how far I could throw half a brick these days. Depressing but I am ready to demonstrate.

The demonstrations over Robinson are probably to come. I worry for him....He is a marked man in lots of ways....and the establishment hate him and are prepared to use any method fair, disingenuous or foul. Robinson represents the first guy who leaps out of the trench in WW1......He probably won't make it because they are all aiming at him. However I don't see the situation he campaigns on improving. So actually he won't be the last to make that leap....but that's not for old gits like us. The future is...as always never certain but in all likelihood it's not going to be socially cohesive.....In my view I think in fifty years time Robinson will be celebrated...but only our children and/or our grandchildren will know that.
