Mane cost Liverpool 34 million, and is of a similar age, and has a 1 goal in 3 games ratio at Southampton. Benteke does have a better goals per game as has been pointed out, and that was in a struggling Villa team, as well as at Liverpool where his face and style of play clearly didn't/doesn't fit. If we have the dosh, and wish to remain in this league then need's must. Personally, I will still go as I have done for 50+ years whatever league we are in, but this potential signing will hopefully give us the ammo we need to do so. Benteke Is a class player and about as good a signing as we could make. Rather him than that batashuyi, who's unproven at this level.

Jonny could scarce have had a better tournament but if he nailed the next two games he could nail a starting berth for us next season. At the moment he clearly hasn't. But with Ramsey out and the biggest game in Wales' history coming, he just might.

my wife is Filipino.

they are hard workers. since her visa in 2012 it's been a hard few....hang on..you don't need to know all this.

i am getting this feeling too. Once personal terms have been agreed, it 'should' and normally is pretty straight forward from there. This is dragging on too long.

He is stalling on the basis of ' image rights'. What the hell are these?? As others have said, believe these are delaying tactics , waiting for another club to come in for him. Suggest we start looking for our next best option, as not looking good tonight.
