Don't think it's a bad move for an up and coming young Englishman to learn from an experienced ex international who in his day was the best defender in the top flight. He can teach Caulker all sorts about the game. I wish we had got him but good job Qpr. They have signed some quality players and might be in with a shout of staying up.

Thank you Mr Redknapp

Why, for the love of god why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fear you are right. Another step towards buying success. But in the end surely destined to go the way of Blackpool or Fulham, it's hard to imagine QPR ever having a really big fan base.

Blimey. People are talking like he's put pen to paper. Let's see what happens before accusing him of being greedy.

Not overly disappointed at all.. Yes he would been a great addition but just like when we got Danns we don't need spend £8mill plus wages!!

We have a great defence and yes we need cover for injuries etc but I'm sure we can find a decent CB for far less!!

Grant Hanley at Blackburn, Lascellas at Forest or Harry mcQuire at Sheffield United are all examples of the players we can get.

Anybody who chooses to play for Redknapp only has pound signs in their eyes. I'd love Caulkner to sign but won't cry if he doesn't.

EEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeerrrrrrm just exactly did Delaney go wrong last Season, absolute dependable rock at the back with Dann.

Don't need Caulker in my book, but defensive cover would obvioulsy be a good idea.

Neil Danns as a centre half? Glad we never tried that!

Agree to a certain extent (got my vote for POTY) but he played out of his skin for the whole season. I'm not convinced he can do it for another season and he needs upgrading. Just because he was good doesn't mean you can't get better.

Not knocking Delaney at all but Caulker is a massive upgrade and, if we are serious in our intentions to remain in the Prem, an upgrade in that position is essential.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Don't think Coulsdon or I accused him of being greedy. We were talking about QPR appearing to do some good business and potentially gearing up for success.

You didn't fella. The first & fourth posts on the previous page most certainly allude to him being greedy. Was just confirming he hasn't signed for them so hold on for 24 hours

Delaney is getting on a bit, we saw how quickly Gabbidon faded last season.
