Both my parents are Nichiren-Shoshu Buddhists and for a while I was too. They believe not in a single being or group of beings, but a sort of...well I suppose you'd call it a force. Anyway, it's the closest to what I believe. I suppose if you were to put me on that scale I'd be a 10. I've never been to a church for any sort of ceremony (parents got married in a registry office) and I don't intend to. I think faith is a good thing, it gives you strength and without it a lot of people wouldn't make it through the day, but organised religion never seems to accomplish anything except starting wars and discriminating against people. I got nothing against believers (whatever they believe in), in fact I admire them for being able to keep their beliefs when faced with so many contrary views but count me out.
