One for the Oldies. Last day of the season I think 71/72 home to Huddersfield. They were down from old top flight and we were just safe.0-0 We were awful and should have lost

0-1 Defeat at home to Grimsby with Smith in charge a few years back. Dougies first game back i think, it was cold, we were rubbish! Also we lost to Watford and Wimbledon in a week at home, evening games under Francis, they were pretty dire

Have already seen loads of crappy ones, one that sticks is about 4-5 years ago I think losing to Port Vale 0-1 at home. I think there were about 50 vale fans, we were all shouting "did you come by mini bus" .. and then they scored with their ONLY shot on goal.

We never used to beat Port Vale! Our record against Swindon at Selhurst was pretty poor too

Gillingham away 03/04. Shocking 1-0 defeat under Steve Kember, they had man sent off, freedman missed pen and had to sit in a temporary stand with no cover right next to the pikeys!
Loving the Palace rollercoaster ride.... |

I would definately go for the Wolves game, I think it was the last game of the season a few years back. Palace just seemed to have a particularly poor vein of form near the end of the season, and this made everyone throw their season tickets onto the pitch. I think we lost 2-0, and the throwing of the season tickets was the Palace highlight of the game as far as I can remember.
Must be our time for the Prem again soon!! |

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. - John Bostock (Nov 2007) |
