The thing is, I find it laughable when people (not on this site in fairness) Go on about, oh the BNP are such cowards, all mouth then didn't do anything to the DJ, yet if they had kicked the s* out of him, or started calling him a "****" or other such insults, it would be "racist thugs, should be locked up". It seems it's damned if they do, damned if they don't.

My point was though that many people on here have used the term "don't believe everything you read in the media" and yet when a story arises - through that very same media - that they like, they're only too happy to swallow it's validity without question and take it as gospel. It don’t matter a s* who’s been quoted saying what! If it’s true, who told the media? If they were all BNP there, how did it get out? And why would they care? Their manifesto claims colour of skin is no issue. And remember this is a party that has a high-ranking Jewish candidate among it’s ranks. The BNP is nationalist, not national socialist. They’re no more sinister that Scottish nationalists and certainly a damn site less violent than their Irish counterparts! The NF they aint! There’s more extreme right-wingers in the bloody Tory party than this lot! Hell, truth be known, there’s more in Tony-boy’s so-called New Labour! Am I a BNP sympathiser? Petealiator are you suggesting this story is made up. I think most of he newspapers lean more to the right than the left. Hence, we are always reading alarmist stories about illegal immigrants and how Europe will take power away from Westminster to Brussels. I have prepared one of my own time capsules. Seeing as the Saxons are relative newcomers to these islands, do I assume by "indigenous people of Britain" you are referring to the Welsh, and therefore Plaid Cymru might expect your vote in the near future?

Here here to the above comment. If anyone bothered to have a look at their family tree you'd soon find the chances are you don't come from this country if you go back far enough. I found out that my family descend from Germany. Which explains why I've always had a mullet haircut.

I have to admit I agree with a lot of what Petealiator said ... for example ... if you saw a Scotsman walking down the street in his kilt, sporran, socks and full regallia - you'd laugh ... but if we see Muslim women walking down the street in their Bukra's ... we have to respect and welcome them. In Rome do what the Roman's do ... blend in!! Granted I know a lot of muslims do that but those that insist on wearing their clothes, building their mosques, having their own schooling really get my goat! Off on a tangent slightly ... but it's similar ... all those blacks who go on about how Jamacia/Nigeria/other country is SO wonderful ... one question ... if it is that wonderful ... why are you here? I have to say I'm disappointed that a thread that addressed what I considered a valid and serious issue appears to have been deleted over the weekend. This is particularly ironic since I was challenging what I considered to be racist, intolerant and bigoted behaviour, but was frequently abused by the right-wingers on here for impinging upon the alleged perpetrator's right to freedom of speech. It is therefore with disappointment, if not surprise, that I log in today to see that (as has been shown here before) the freedom of speech issue only ever seems to be applied to one side of any argument. Where is MY right to freedom of speech? Apparently non-existent, as it seems to be for anyone who expresses views of tolerance or that differ from the normally accepted (right wing tabloid) point of view. Shame on you HOL. Not even a PM to explain why I've been censored. One final point, for Petealiator. I re-read a great number of your posts over the weekend and I have to say I still stand by my assessment of you. However if I have got you wrong - and StefJolly certainly thinks so, and he's a man I respect - then I genuinely and sincerely apologise, and openly and publicly take back any and all offensive remarks. I know that you were well p*ssed off with the fact that I challenged you and your views yet again, and I'd have liked to have seen your reply (assuming it wasn't just threats of violence).
