More blasphemy than sacrelige really. A hypocritical Christian - how unusual.

I work for the Corporation of London and every December we have a christmas lunch in the Guildhall with the Lord Mayor, its all good fun.
Ring up the Evening Standard or any of the other local papers as it's a great story that will show up how political correctness is ruining this country. I do love that anyone who defends anything on here suddenly becomes a member of the PC brigade. Countless times this has come up on here, and not once has it been defended - there is no PC brigade outside of Senior Administration! Indeed legal - maybe they'll get it this time!

What a huge overreaction. Do you celebrate the birth of Jesus ? Sing Carols ? I doubt it. It's a staff do, just think yourself lucky you get a do of any kind. I attend churh every Sunday, I have been Christianed, confirmed and have communion And also enjoy midnight mass its my belief which is why the above title states Angry English Christian. I was not allowed to have a small St georges flag on my monitor or wear a England football T-Shirt with a St georges cross on the back when there were poeple walking about in other nations colours. Maybe it was an overreaction on hindsight but it seems that whenever we want to celebrate our heritage, its deemed as wrong? Edited by AJISGOD (21 Oct 2004 10:46am)
Nope, I am not using religon for evil use I am defending my rights as a practising Christian. Edited by AJISGOD (21 Oct 2004 12:26pm)

Shopping centres avoiding playing Christmas music. A suspicion of a cut back in Christmas decorations by some shopping centres. I don't have a problem with that, certainly in October & November anyway. When I was younger I worked in C&A Nottingham as a Christmas temp, and by the end of my 3 month contract I was ready to strangle anyone who even thought about humming "Merry Xmas everybody"
That's just the ramblings of a madman |

These ethnic minorities really piss me off. Certain elements come and live over here, preach evil hatred against us but don't mind having time off at Christmas. We tolerate their fasting thing so why can't they tolerate our festival. Admittedly there are a lot of British people who probably don't celebrate Christmas the way they should (myself included) by attending church but its a question of choice. All the political correctness bulls*** really pisses me off, British people in the uk are the MAJORITY therefore these other religions should respect ours and not expect us to adapt to their culture. The only race I can tolerate here is Hindu's, lovely peaceful people who do show genuine respect. Its Bin Laden's lot I have a beef with. Rant over.

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. - John Bostock (Nov 2007) |

I started this thread as a rant against the authorities not Ethnic minorities. All religions have their share of religious extremist. The Klu Klux Kan claim to be Christians. These extremist make decent poeple angry no matter what their belief or religion. I just don't want anybody misunderstanding my agrument.
