When I saw the title of this thread I thought it was going to be a parody, but no, it’s really believed.

I thought I had seen everything here but the comments of the last week or so have shown me that no matter how low the they might seem, they can still get lower. Defending and excusing rioters and pretending they are somehow justified in behaving like scum is not what decent people do.

I have recently read a comment on another football supporter’s forum that this section of the Hol is a cess pit! What a reputation to have! What an image to present to the outside world. What shame does it bring to the club I love and have supported all my life.

Thank goodness there’s only a few of you.

Violant behaviour will only make things worse. Ridiculous behaviour from white and Muslim gangs.

We do however only seem to be hearing it's the right wing on our main stream media. This disinformation ( a word I know you love) is only being used to fuel the trouble. Misinformation was used on the birthplace of the Southport killer.

Where does all this disinformation come from?

It comes from a government that wants to divide us. It comes from people who want to use the excuse of dead children to burn down our towns.

I've not seen anything particularly offensive on these threads. If there have been words of incitement or racism; then I'm sure mods would have dealt with it.

Exactly.

Brand is someone I respect politically even though he's socially very liberal, whereas I'm not personally....but I respect that he actually wants to find ways for different communities to live together without forcing each other to change.

I don't think that works but I respect it as I respect peace makers even if it's not always possible.

Sexually he's been accused of a lot....but as you point out there is a huge double standard on it. Plus, in my personal opinion I just don't regard him as the figure they paint him as...we suspect it's being done for political reasons....He's always chased skirt and wanting to shag a lot as a younger man is hardly news and it's carrying out your biological imperative. Worthy of criticism in some of that behaviour but in my view small beer in the scheme of things.
