The soldier who was stabbed is Lt Col Mark Teeton. The RAF, as well as Sea Cadets have been advised to wear a large coat to hide their uniforms whilst in public, what is the UK coming to . . . [Link]
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

so much for wearing the uniform with pride. Wearing medals in public. we seem to have gone from Gay Pride to Soldiers shame ? Imagine having to apologise for storming the Normandy beaches. Would it now be safe for a solitary UK soldier to walk the streets of , say, Luton ? in uniform ? or Speakers Corner, Hyde Park ? Formerly a bastion of 'freedom of speech' ?

[Link] I remember watching a programme two decades ago where a US policeman was interviewed and he remarked that he couldn't wear his uniform when off duty in certain areas as he would be violently attacked. The reason was that 'angel dust'(?) was prevalent and caused the user to become excessively strong easily overpowering a 'normal' human being. Sad times for us.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

To be fair, during the entire troubles Soldiers couldn't go out in uniform in England.

attacked from behind, and stabbed up to a dozen times. A coward, Anthony Esan couldnt even have the bravery to fight MMA rules nor the normal rules of an old fashioned military engagement. Creeping up behind fellas and carrying multiple knives. Like so many 'knife fights' the victim didnt know he was in a fight until he had already lost it. Should really be called a 'knife surprise assault' or a knife assassination. We can safely assume that Lee Rigby was also given such unfair odds. And also that Christian woman who was stabbed at Hyde Park Corner. Did the cops ever catch the stabber ?

Hoping the longer there is no news on the soldier, the higher the chances of his survival. When he's out of danger, will be relief.

The attempts, by the Media, to anonymise and play down the whole incident have been shocking. Meanwhile, other victims of violent crime get a ton of publicity. Its almost as if new legislation is awaiting enactment, pending having a victim to champion its cause ? anything to do with the permanent NATO wars ?

It's called normalising. We are becoming used to attacks on our citizens by people of immigrant backgrounds. Random attacks have become so common place that our minds have to ration out the emotional response. We have people who are in denial about the situation. We have others who are more concerned with the rights of the murderers and 'racism'.
