Wisbech will be on in a minute telling us that Trump organised it himself to attract more votes.

Organising a shooting from 150 yards away that clipped his ear would have been far too risky. Organising someone in a Biden T-shirt hurling rubber ducks in full camera view is more his style.

I woke this morning to this news. It’s shocking but unsurprising given the divisive nature of current US politics. Opinions clearly differ on who and what is responsible for the divisiveness. Some Republicans have rushed to blame the Democrats, including Biden, for it, saying their attitude towards Trump is entirely to blame. Unsurprisingly others disagree. Me included. I believe it’s primarily Trump’s responsibility caused by his attitude and behaviour in the last 10 years, which reached the bottom in 2020 with his attempt to deny democracy. Now his attempts to avoid justice stick in the craw of every law abiding person. I hope this sends enough shockwaves through the USA to stop it, but I fear it will make it worse.

Have you no shame? Clearly his shame levels are as high as his gas maintenance budget. Though blaming Trump for his own assassination attempt is almost an enjoyable slice of trolling. I should imagine that TDS would be far more at home on the BBS. Trump's revenue will be beating these twisted dysfunctional people. Edited by Stirlingsays (14 Jul 2024 9.07am)

Same as JFK and MLK then? They brought it on themselves did they?

I will leave this up here without comment other than the fact this man is paid by the BBC and that he claimed this tweet was actually 'satire'.

The almost inevitable consequence of convincing people, especially young people, that others are to blame for their failure and misery. Perhaps he could have looked at changing his gender instead?? Edited by Nicholas91 (14 Jul 2024 9.48am)

If Elon musk had not bought Twitter (X) we would all be waking up to the news Trump "slipped" while making a speech. Which I might add a lot of MSM are trying to peddle.
