This sums up again why we should take the cup serious we could have been the team to win this.

AWB stuck to Doku like glue, City continually pumped the ball to him, the goal was the keeper's fault. A really good final, United worth their surprise win, City lacked ideas.

United with a deserved win. I was desperate to see ManU lose again for the hilarity factor but actually I now don't begrudge them the win. ManC were dreadfully bad, especially for a side unbeaten (except on penalties) in 35 games or whatever it was. Aside from a couple of slips, AWB had a good game, which is pleasing to see from a Selhurst old boy. And yes, the knock-on effect for Chelsea and Riyadh FC is quite funny.

Sod that, do you know how nauseating the bbc & Sky are going to be for the next 2 & a half months?
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

The idea of having two competing trophy parade buses smashing into each other in Manchester today carries some amusement. Obviously Ten Hag will have 'missed the bus'.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

City played like Southgate’s England. Slow build up, looking for an opening. They came up against a resolute defence and were vulnerable to the quick break and the well placed long ball. Just like England. I’m no Utd fan, but I was pleased they deservedly overcame the tedious tippy-tappy football I. Hate.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |
