Was a decision made by the public which Parliament reluctantly had to agree to. Many Tories were and still are pro EU. Anti Trans sentiment? You forget to mention the huge toxic bile from the pro Trans lobby pillorying anyone who dared to criticise them. Personally I have no problems in my extended family we have one. However when medical staff and researchers are victimised just because they are concerned about life changing treatment of children I think the government is right to intervene. Stricter protest laws, yeah pity the police don't use them. Anti trade union laws yup pity the railway management don't use them. Benefits. You only have to look at the huge increase in people claiming to be sick with illnesses that cannot be disproved they are either faking it or they need help which the government is now saying they will get, let's hope they do. I did specifically say I’m not really interested in doing the merits of each point, just countering the suggestion that this government haven’t had right wing policies. What the ‘trans lobby’ or other affiliated groups do is largely irrelevant when discussing the actions of the government - this government have happily jumped on this ‘define a woman’ culture war s***e and stirred that pot, and that type of sentiment is now creeping into policy, rightly or wrongly. Steeleye is correct that the anti-environmentalism angle is another area that supports this being a right wing government.

You normally vote Labour? but you don't think they are Labour enough. We both think the other party is shinola. Glad we cleared that up.

Perhaps you should forget holidays in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece and France, who all rank lower.

So that makes water quality alright then. Who said that? It does show Steeleye's statement of: "Forget holidays in Britain it's too risky to bathe anywhere here - try the continent you just left" as fallacious.

Except Tenerife who think they can survive without British tourism
