Has asked to leave, and may want to stay in London. No idea if he's the kind of player Palace would go for now, and for £15 m or so wouldn't be a snip

Being shot through one eye & having an arm amputated, not sure he he is what we need, tho, probably Britain's greatest naval commander, but, I'm biased having served & in the Falklands

ASCPFC still has a 'interesting' humour

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Not sure that's a compliment. But rest assured, I agree on Nelson and was glued to the TV in 82. My father was Royal Navy for twenty five years. A gunner.

I can only imagine what they would make today. Kiss me Hardy will take on a new meaning.

Nelson is certainly weaker on one side and would benefit from more vision.

I was in conversation with a learned gentleman in the week, and Reiss Nelson entered the discussion.
He mentioned to me that Nelson was raised on the same estate in Walworth as Richard Riakporhe.

This chap also asserted that a very young Nelson was noticed playing in a park by a scout who was impressed by his ability and invited him to train at the Arsenal academy.
A few years back I had heard that Nelson was considered the best product of the Arsenal academy since Jack Wilshere.

Apparently, he did not even feature in their match-day squads once Arsenal were approaching full strength. At 100,000 a week I can see why Arsenal are open to him moving

He does not seem to fit our buying profile of better-value Championship or foreign players

Thank you as always Willo!

This piece gives a useful analysis. Nelson has been overshadowed by Saka, but still a very gifted attacking player, who might add a lot to the attacking strength of Palace especially if Eze or Olise or bot go

If he had just picked up a club last year when his contract was up he wouldn't need to have asked. I still don't understand why he signed that new contract.

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

Looks like Palace interest is strengthening in Nelson?
