This past week for me has been a real rollercoaster and one of the best for a long time. Firstly, my wife gave me the Palace Centenary watch for my birthday! Then we won against all odds at Anfield with a total team class act, (one of my best feeling days for quite a while) and then finally today I learnt that what was looking like a nasty bladder cancer tumour is actually benign! What a week!! If we beat the SPAM on Sunday, it will be icing on the cake. It looks under Glasner we have both a set up structure to be competitive and then a specific formula of tactical initiatives against each specific team. Last year we were comfortable 4-3 winners (a game I flew over for from Canada), this year we should have a chance of beating them by two clear goals. My only concern is we get caught out on the break, so solid defending and tracking back still required,

Let's hope the good times keep rolling for you and therefore for us as Palace fans too!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

If no Bowen, that ought to improve our chances big time. Hopefully the lads have a good week on the training ground, forgetting about the Liverpool game and come out humble and ready for a fight. Actually, me happy with a point.

Without wishing to appear smug or anything, I predicted a win over Liverpool on here so I'm going to stick my neck out and say we'll beat the Hammers too. Another clean sheet and two goals for us this time. Ollie's army marches on.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Congratulations too on receiving the Palace watch from your wife. I'd almost forgotten about these. I put my name down (at least I thought I did) but have not heard a dicky bird since. Has anyone else had any news about the Centenary Watch?

A week ago nobody gave us a chance against Liverpool (myself included). Not being a doom merchant just want to keep some perspective as one win does not make all the bad of this season go away… that said I really hope we stuff em. Well said. The only post on this thread that encapsulates my own hopes and fears.

For me it's a 1-1 as we seem to be changed now with players back or on the way back. Wham generally seem to have a better midfield than us but we have a very good midfield now and the result will be a draw or a Palace win.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |
