The squad needs loads of work this summer as, clearly, there aren't enough players in the squad who can play this way to any sort of acceptable standard. The bench on Saturday was appalling and we need depth.

None of those players on the bench leaving is going to generate any meaningful cash so I'd think we're all set for Guehi and Olise to move on. Hopefully we get something in the £110 - £120m range, and then you're looking at bringing in 5 or 6 of decent quality.

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

I actually hope we do sell that pair, and bring in 5/6 players, Glasner is almost unique in Palace terms, he has done well at every club he has been to, but the squad needs improving in his style, i hope that only Ward is given a 1 year extension and all others are sold, must keeps, Johnstone, Andersen, Eze, Doucoure and Mateta. add LWB, CD, CAM and CF, at least.

One big plus with Munoz is his desire to get into goalscoring positions.
Rewatching some of the highlights he shows more attacking instincts than some forwards.
The downside with him is that I'm not sure you could play him as a right back in a conventional back four, at least against the better teams in the Premier League.
He is prone to allowing players to cut inside him too easily and often doesn't stop crosses when the opponent goes outside.
Don't get me wrong, he looks to be a very good signing.
However, I don't see him as a right back whose first love is defending.

Thankfully. His style fits the new format perfectly with 3 in the middle of the back and 2 wing backs. Watch Bradley when Liverpool come to town.
Problem is we will be found out against top opposition because Ward is too slow.

I would add Munoz, Wharton, Richards and Lerma. We need to be building a squad this summer so unless we get offered silly money, all these guys are good to stay.

Yep, I'd agree. As much as I don't want some of the stars to go, its clear that we need to upgrade a bunch of squad positions.

Yep, agree with that, i maybe wrong, but is Guehi a 50m player, is he that much better than Richards

Guehi is worth £50m if we are selling. In fact Ive seen £60+m on click bait.

IMO yes. This will sound harsher than intended, but there are loads of defenders like Richards.

Guehi is so good on the deck, he's pretty unique.

Transfer market has their respective values at €38.00m for Guehi, and €10.00m for Richards.

Yes because:
1) he is good at passing the ball forward whereas Richards' passing can often leave much to be desired, although he is slowly improving
2) Guehi is good at taking the ball forward and turning defence into attack
3) he reads the game better
4) his tackles and intercepts are generally better than those of Richards

Having said all that Richards is better in the air.

Add to that he also qualifies as an English Homegrown player, which always carries a premium.

Think we all would love a team incl. Olise, Eze, Guehi and Doucoure! But we certainly need an upgrade on Hughes, Schlupp (look knackered after 10 min on the pitch), Ward and Ayew. That costs money which we will have to take from sale of star players. We should bank around 140-150 mill for let us say Olise and Guehi - that would go a long way to get some really good players in that will overall improve our team.
