Forest and Bournemouth away, other than tat we have played all our easy games. Can't see us winning another 2. You Forgot Fulham.

At the moment I have 33 points as safe with a 3 point buffer. i.e. Luton finish on 30 points. Having said that the Luton v Forest game on 16 March could decide which of those two go down even without a points deduction for forest. A win for Luton could see them both finish on 32 points. Luton are at home as well. I have us down for a draw at forest but if Luton and Palace beat them they will be favourites for the 3rd spot. Everton still have to play 5 of the other 6 teams in the mix with them. So they have a big shout in who goes down. Especially as they are top of the mini league of teams in the relegation mix. There are still 213 points to fight for between the seven teams in the mix but 12 of those games are relegation six pointers. So between 36 and 48 points must be lost. They can't both win. There are also 26 games V the top sides to play. That doesn't leave many points to play for against the also rans.

Depending on those results we could be either still 8 points clear of the drop or down to 4 points clear. Points deductions notwithstanding

I can already hear the fat lass clearing her lungs. PS safe on 33 points! Edited by silvertop (12 Mar 2024 12.15pm)

Crucial games: Luton V Forest, Everton V Forest, Luton V everton. Everton also have Sheff utd, burnley and brentford, all at home. If they go down they deserve too!!!!

Everton have a team built for a fight. I think Forest might struggle to stay up as they perhaps lack the cohesive team spirit of Everton and Luton. Having said that Luton can't keep giving away so many chances as they do if they have any chance of survival. Although we weren't great on Saturday they were still lucky to come away with a point.

I've read that the verdict was delayed on their points deduction and it should now be on Monday (18th March). Should be the same as Everton's previous one (6 points)
