We have to be realistic, the win over Burnley was expected and very necessary whoever the manager was. Frankly if we hadn't won that one then we would be in deep trouble. The game at Spurs will be entirely different, we are not expected to win, we still have problems in the final third and defending high balls in to the box and neither of these will be easily solved in the short term so really the best we could hope for is 0-0.

Hoping that we actually manage to compete although our past encounters at this stadium do not fill me with optimism. Can't think of a game where we have even been close to a draw. Would be overjoyed with a point.

I’m thinking it will be a reverse of our Burnley score - hope not and would love a point but being realistic 3:0 :-(

We have started well with Oliver but that was against Burnley who had given up before the game started. Spuds can play well but their players may believe the league places so I am going for a 2-2
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

I feel much more positive. A win seems almost possible, a draw seems possible, a loss seems most likely but we're not without hope. 1-1 seems almost attainable.

This is a typical Palace win event. I predict a Palace win: 2-3

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

A draw would be amazing but I suspect a close game with us losing late on by the odd goal.

Could this stat from the Beeb be a positive omen? "Crystal Palace won 3-0 against Burnley in Oliver Glasner’s first Premier League game in charge. Only Alan Pardew has ever won both of his first two in charge of the Eagles, doing so with victories over Tottenham and Burnley in January 2015".

We'll probably lose, but it's how we lose that matters. Anything at Spurs would be brilliant but we have a much more significant game against Luton coming up.

not too optimistic. Spurs have a ton of quality AND home-advantage.
