I don’t think that Parish is Textor’s “ puppet “. He has Harris and Blitzer’s support when it comes to the running of the club. And I believe that includes the hire and fire of managers. However, I do believe that a combination of Textor demanding a change of manager together with the run of results has pushed Parish into letting Hodgson go. Just my opinion, but I think that the intention was to allow Roy to announce that he was standing down at the ill fated press conference . Subsequent events meant that didn’t happen of course. Parish would be at pains to ensure that Hodgson left in a dignified manner. Parting company with him would be painful for him but I think he’s also come to realise it’s also necessary.

If you look a trexton Property Ltd at company house, and see who was involved in that company, which lasted from 2017 to 2021, and cross reference them with Textors five company's you will see a pattern of why it was formed.

Someone needs to take the lead. Going forward we must have a carefully thought out plan and this includes the manager in 2 years time.

Textor is running the club, not Parish, he just does what Textor tells him, has anyone considered that if Robert Franco who had a UK company called Texton Property ltd put his 5% with Textor thats 50% they would only need one of the 4% small investors to come onboard to attain overall control, which would certainly not go down well with Harris and Blitzer, or has it already happened? Textor has manipulated the 5% of his friend Franco to gain more than 50% holding, and if i am not mistaken that allows him to ask for an EGM to make the changes he wants to the voting rights, Parish, Blitzer and Harris together only come to 46%, i think Textor is without doubt owner of the club.
By law in this country any Ltd company which changes ownership has to be re registered at Companies House so I'm guessing not.

It hasn't changed it is the same as it has been since the last change, 4 directors, Textor major shareholder 45%, that is why everything takes an eternity to complete, what is needed is a reconstructure of the board with one overall controller.

If you omitted the reference to your dear wife, you could use the rest as a selling pitch on a dating website! Edited by Willo (18 Feb 2024 1.17pm)
