The most hypocritical thread in the world. Probably.

It would be nice to see a big banner in the Holmesdale thanking Roy for his efforts and wishing him a good recovery.

Nice but not going to happen from the childish bunch of banner makers, would like to be proved wrong

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

The majority of fans might disagree with Roy’s footballing approach to the last few months but everyone is 100% begind him in his battle to regain full health!

I heard that. Pretty cringe reading to be honest. Everybody is suddenly feeling a sharp dose of guilt.

100% behind Roy to get well again. He doesn’t need all this $hit ... that's why most of us retire!!! Roy does his job for love of the game but PL football is not about fun and entertainment anymore its just BIG bu$ine$$.

But health and wellbeing transcends anything related to football and in our case Palace..!!

At this point in time our current Manager who is 76 years of age is in hospital, after being taken unwell at training - that is all that matters. All we want is for Roy is that it is nothing serious and that he his up around soon..!!

Get well soon Roy - all our thoughts and thoughts and best wishes are with you and the family..!!

Sorry to tell you but Roy is being replaced.
I don’t blame Roy for coming back for the money he was offered. But with his second visit to hospital in a few months it was all just too much.
I hope he unwinds relaxes and enjoys well deserved retirement.

Not really - nobody has any personal dislike of Roy. People were just fed up with the results and the manager, inevitably, gets the blame. I think that everyone recognises Roy has been a great club servant and stepped up when required. We've had the bad times and the good. Now, I'm sure everyone wishes Roy all the best. No one would wish him any harm - even his greatest detractors. Even those would still thank Roy for his service - it's the kind of club we are. We all move on but personal stories still matter to us. Get well soon Roy.

I don't think any of us want Roy in hospital because he won't play Franca or because our defence is leaking goals. Quite the opposite in that we'd like to see him leave and enjoy his retirement, whilst we get on with playing football with a more modern manager and hopefully better results.

Tbh, bit worrying about your outlook on things if you can't see that.

Exactly this. Its a lot of stress for a man of his age.

Needs to learn to take it easy before its too late
