Ive always been positive when watching palace sometime a little naively at times like Liverpool 9-0 , but at 4 we fans pre HF we started singing and as the goals went in we got louder , and we boogied down the M6 on the way home because of a traffic jam , was even asked by one driver how we got on once we told him he laughed and said you must really love your team , that is the Palace way we some how stick together , we wasn't asked to support them we chose to support them , and turning your backs on the players like what's been happening doesn't help matters , i never played or done my job well if when things are out of sorts being shouted at and abused , because you just go F You , thats not what we want from the players , being paid 50 100k doesnt make you a better player just a rich one , knowing no matter what , the fans are behind you , you try and correct them mistake , its time to encourage not turn the knife more . COYP

Positivity is a 2 way thing.

My point is that we have allowed our negativity to go waaaaaay too far. Nasty banners at games, incessant whining.

But it is a simple fact that our best team, playing all season, is comfortably in the top 10 and we're all happy with our standing but waiting a bit more patiently for a more progressive manager.

There are absolutely fair criticisms, but we have allowed them to go much too far. Beyond reasonable analysis of results given resources.

That's not to say Roy and the club can't be criticised, but if there is a great pile on at the first thing that goes wrong, we haven't a prayer.

Positivity is chicken and egg. Individual fans who see this obvious issue must stand up and be counted.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

I agree with you that the point has been made from a visible complaint perspective and that we need to get behind the team, but if we keep doing the very definition of insanity by trying to get a positive result from a negative approach then you might see a bit more angst among the crowd.

I agree with you that the point has been made from a visible complaint perspective and that we need to get behind the team, but if we keep doing the very definition of insanity by trying to get a positive result from a negative approach then you might see a bit more angst among the crowd.

It's what I have said all along some know our station others think we are better, get it but the ground needs major work for us to do better , then let's see where we are going younger fans can't wait older fans hope it happens before we die 😀

It's difficult to find anything that's gone right from the positive end to last season. We had the fiasco around Guiata refusing to train,tour or play leading to him leaving. The irony is that his replacement, Johnstone, is now supposedly unhappy to losing his place to Henderson and we miss the consistency that Guiata gave us. We then had Olise's injury on international duty which appears to have blighted our whole season. We then had a poor summer transfer window with arguably none of signings having a really positive impact. We didn't replace Zaha and Lerma's best game, to my mind, remains his debut at Sheffield United. None of our players have had an outstanding season and performances and results have not been as anticipated. From here on let's hope for reasons for positivity with potentially a new manager and the 2 new signings.
