You've saved me writing a very long post and therefore others being subjected to my long winded rambling NEILLO, I completely agree.

With no evidence asides from seeing the situation pan out as it has, I was very much of the opinion Parish thought keeping Roy was the equivalent of 'securing another season' whilst he builds a stand as his monument.

Unfortunately, this is football and it does not always pan out as such. Perhaps I've missed a trick in not holding as much resentment toward Parish as others seem to, and I'm not suggesting I have any let alone all the answers, however I am witnessing this apparent strategy faltering big time.

Football atrocious and ineffective, we're on course for relegation, players unhappy, fans incandescent, manager without answers and perhaps justifiably facing extreme hostility. Something has to change. If Parish does nothing, that will be his legacy and will almost nullify anything preceding it.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Whatever problem in the club, the simple solution now to avoid relegation? Change of manager, that is the only thing what we can do really.

Exactly how I saw it too -

I was at the game yesterday and yes we were poor, but I do think there is a danger of a gross overreaction to an absolutely horrendous injury situation.

Yes we could do better defending at and scoring from corners, and yes I wish Roy would play Franca more often, but these are marginal issues compared with not having 3 of our best 5 players regularly available since the start of the season. And with Wilf going, arguably 4 out of our 6 best players from last season are not available on a consistent basis this season. I would suggest any mid table team would struggle in those circumstances and why we end up putting out the midfield we did yesterday.

Turning on the players looks terrible and is not going to help. And I can't see how the owners can be held responsible for the
injury situation. We do really need to come together.

The problem is the Ridiculous position have got themselves into over voting rights, 4 holders with 25% voting rights, so 3 have to agree to get anything done, 2 each its stalemate, farcical, and the blame lays squarely with Textor for allowing Parish to call the tune, it should be as shares held, Textor 45%, Blitzer and Harris 16% each and Parish with his 10%, Roberto Franca 5% and 4% held by small investors, until that is sorted the Status Quo will continue, with nobody able to make a decision.

Surely the easiest and first thing every fan should be doing, is getting behind the team. They don't have to support Roy but if anything could be clearer, the team needs the fans to push them on. Frankly the morale is probably shot to pieces, confidence is at an all time low, the players probably are questioning why they are at the club, they have Roy managing his defensive but leaking goal tacticsand imagine being one of the young players when fans are shouting and swearing at you. It seems like a s***show for them just as much as the fans.

If one thing I learnt from Everton last season, getting behind the team and making their stadium a hard place to go, kept them up last season.

If we cling on in this league then we will rest easy that Roy will be gone, injuries will subside, on the whole... the squad looks great if there's no injuries and with a different manager, it could be quite exciting.
