More predictable woes.
1 win in 11 games.

Not shocked we’ve exited yet another cup early without scoring.

I am shocked by any suggestion that we’re gonna ‘give it a go against Arsenal now’ though, let alone the notion we may even get something from the game. Sounds pure fantasy but you never do know I suppose.

Gawd that sounds miserable, even for me. Feels as though there’s very little to be optimistic about let alone cheer these days though.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

As much as to be expected . A couple of decent chances at the end to prolong the agony but thats that for another year .

Shame we don't prioritise the cup,its not as if we have anything better to do but the rewards of the premier league make it a money decision . Shame .

Their goalie had a blinder by all accounts although I’d like to see our players blasting the ball into the net or placing it into the net instead of giving the keeper a chance to look good.

Disappointed but no injuries and we can now concentrate on league.

Listening to Talksport, they said that the Palace fans were singing 'you don't know what you're doing' to Hodgson after he took off Eze.

Good. Wish he'd just clear off as we never look like scoring with his set up.

Everton may as well had a bye.

Agree,unlike Pulis,our Roy is clueless!!
Should be given his marching orders after our inevitable defeat against Arsenal on Saturday.

Well that was all so predictable.

The really simple concept of a cup competition is you play randomly drawn games and if you win them all you get a big day out, a shiny trophy and a crack at Europe.

So we play Royball and aim to keep a clean sheet. We will never win a game unless we actually score and Roy sucks all front running play out of the side.

I used to reckon we would survive as there were worse teams than us. Not so sure now.

Parish would not give any other manager this much time so I can only assume Roy has pictures of him in a compromised position and is threatening to.go.public if he is sacked

Can’t remember the last time I actually looked forward to a match day.

We are just going nowhere and aren’t even good to watch anymeore.

We all know what to expect against the Arsenal - a defensive set up hoping to limit them to a respectable score line with very little attacking intent on our part.

It’s all Very depressing right now…….I just want the season to be over.

Sadly our squad is so poor only Roy can keep us up. Plus the hope that Everton and Forrest get docked ten points. It’s a rubbish time to be a Palace fan and I’ve seen many of those times and a lot of them have been in recent seasons. I wonder what’s the use of being in the premiership if we don’t give it a go in the cup games. Might as well be in the lower divisions trying to finish high, have some cup giant killing and the odd playoff Wembley appearance. I’m fed up just watching boring football where we have to stifle entertaining football to get a point and the occasional 3 to keep us out the bottom 3 :-(

I really don’t understand the argument about not targeting either of the cups. You play 46 games in the league in the championship vs 38 in the PL so why is it that we need to rest etc etc. It’s not like we have European matches to worry about. Perhaps our squad isn’t deep enough for Championship football but is for barely surviving in the PL!

Ironic, since Roy knows exactly what he's doing. The FA Cup is a luxury we can't afford this season, and he is giving some of our limited squad a little breather in readiness for a very hard game on Saturday.

Agree.

Imo we don't need the distraction and extra games of an FA Cup run.

Much better that Roy husbands his playing resources. It's good that Eze went off; he'd had a good impact when he was on and is gradually coming back to his best but it needs to be done with care.

Good, too, that the subs got on for 20 mins or so. Excellent.
