In general terms, I would be averse to entertaining the signing of any player who takes 'Strike' action in order to facilitate a move away from the club to whom he is contracted. A 'Red flag' would spring to mind. Edited by Willo (24 Jan 2024 11.06am) at least it shows he's keen and he's not letting any communters down, it's not that type of strike

An ATTACKING right back? How would that fit in with Roy’s principles on the game?

There seem to be plenty of games where our full backs have the opportunity to go forward and they try to cross. However, none of our current squad are fast enough or accurate enough on the right. On the left we only have Mitchell. He's ok but can't play every game and also is just not great in the opponent's half. I believe Munoz would improve our team and suit the system.

We could do with a good right back. We’ve been asking for it for years. Maybe unglamorous but vital. No disrespect to Ward or Clyne but he’s needed. Clyne has actually looked good recently. Getting forward and posing a real speedy threat. Dare I say it, but we could also do with a bit of competition for Mitchell who can often look like a startled rabbit in the headlights.
