I care not about money or what the club might spend it on if anything .
Selling your best players is never a good idea but sometimes they are just so much better than the standard we are at that they will move on to bigger and better things .

Olise is at that point and I think he will go in the summer . I have a feeling he didn't make too much fuss of not being sold to Chelsea last window because he is better than that . He will be reaching for the very top

If we have him for another season we will be blessed

If Liverpool and City both want him I can see him going sooner than later for silly money. If we are very lucky we may get to keep him the rest of this season.
Thwe way he is playing, maybe even PSG and Real turning up the heat.

Can only imagine what some Saudi club would pay for him , though i think its more of a end of career move to the sand pit .

In my humble opinion Olise is better than Antony whom Man Utd signed in a deal which could reach £86 Mill.

Olise has every chance of progressing to a top club in the world.
Some signing for us at £8 Mill !!

I think even the most blinkered UNITED fan would agree with you on that one Willo

I think we should do everything we can to keep him as he is the best chance for the team to progress further. However, that will need the board to show more enterprise and convince him we are making a serious investment in several positions to make a play for a European spot.

That will probably mean us selling one of our other assets but wasn't that the plan all along? Eze is injury-prone and almost as invaluable. Doucoure is out and will not fetch as much as he would have done last summer so I think Guehi is the obvious option - particulalrly if it is on the back of a successful time at the Euro's. I think Richards can do an adequate job there long-term

TBH, I think Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool would all be interested in January amidst the tight title race but we are, regrettably, probably not safe enough to let him go yet as we would be an injury away from having Tomkins back as a starter without buying a replacement

I understand why a club would want a release clause I don't get why a player would think it's a good idea. It's become fashionable but for me it favours the club too much.

It favours the player and agent not the club.

For example, if Olise has a release clause of £30m, if then any club offers that or above, then Palace are contractually bound to let him go. The player and agent are free to negotiate a better deal with the new club.

How in any way does that favour Palace, as they would be letting a player go, way below market value.

Only Anthony!, I cant think of a single player Utd have signed that is better, since Ronaldo.

Yes a great talent. Credit to DF for spotting him and Eze.Makes you wonder what Franca has in his locker ?

I spotted Eze and Olise and wanted us to sign them long before we did.
Olise at £8m buy out clause wasn't rocket science!

Olise is potentially our best since Don Roger’s and peter taylor. He has bulked up and improved so much during his absence through injury who knows where this 22 year old can eventually go. I hope palace have the sale end details of business tied up. Let’s enjoy the next 6-12 months of his time with us. Time is short. Seeing Kenny Samson on Saturday reminds us all of that

I rather liked the way Thomas Frank singled him out at the end of the match yesterday to say a few words to him, even though Michael was largely instrumental in Brentfords's defeat.

When he does go I hope it’s abroad so he won’t be heaping pain on us in the future
