Can't say I rate JPM, but he has got the best chant in football, so worth playing him for that alone. In all seriousness, I don't rate Eduoard either. JPM has made a great contribution over the past two games, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. He's been poor most of the time he's been with us. He scored a great goal at the Tampax Arena and a vital one against Leicester last season, but otherwise has done very little. That said, he's taken his chance and credit is due. He now needs to keep up his level of performance to earn a run of games. Good luck to him.

I’ve noticed that the post match interview with JP has been taken off of the Palace website. Hardly surprising.. he replied ‘Eh?’ to 3 of the 4 questions asked 🙈🤣

This has popped up concerning JPM/Bayer Leverkusen/Wet Spam/£20m. Its a spammer site reporting Palace want £20m, TWENTY MILLION QUID for him to go to Leverkusen according to Alan Nixon . . . [Link]

[Link] He's been doing ok recently - arguably better than Edouard. The issue would be that the way we operate - we wouldn't replace him. We'd play the rest of the season with just Edouard or an injured Edouard. We'd count Ayew as cover.

£20m for Mateta and £6m for Che Adams would be good business IMO in this window . Gives us £10m+ toward a striker in the summer and a couple toward the new hot dog stand

Like Benteke, JP plays his best stuff around contract negotiations and transfer windows times! We are in a real bind these next few months but would love to see him go for anything over the money we paid for him ~10M. Not the long term answer for a new manager so would even sanction the sale with no replacement and ride Edouard or Jordan to the end of the season then spend big!!!
