How much attention is paid to it, Lord only knows? However, I think Roy will stay to the end of term, so getting Cornet on a half season loan is pointless. Only buying will make sense. Good value at £5m, but surely West Ham are not that desperate to off-load?

According to click-bait, Roy doesn't want Cornet . . . [Link] The bbc reporting Benrahma to Lyon is done with just usual paperwork to finalise. Going to be fun till 11pm.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

It does seem odd that since Roy only has another 16 games to go that his opinion would have that much credence.

Cornet shone consistently in a team that was relegated and scored regularly. Injuries and other players being ahead of him in the pecking order. I don't rate Benrahma so much but the BBC sport website now say he is off to Lyon permanently.
