Luckily there are at least three worse teams than us in the league and we have so many players that will come back in 4/5 weeks just in time to save the season.

We all recognise that we are going backwards slowly, the squad is just too small. Whilst we need the new stand we need money for players as well, so it is over to the Board to find the funds asap

There are 5 teams below us as it stands, we were 12th Friday, we are now 15th, I expect us to be 16th next w/e & 17th/18th by Xmas.

Happy now

With respect when I left the ground I did not reflect on a "Better performance" but on the fact that we had been defeated yet AGAIN at home and had lost our previous 4 games at Selhurst Park, NOT forgetting the 0-0 draws before them.

It was a better performance, than against Bournemouth, but ruined by ridiculous refereeing. Ayews sending off was one of the worst decisions seen at Selhurst for a long time. I know you defend referees blindly, but that changed the game. no doubt.

Comforted a little by Bournemouth winning 4-0 today against Manchester United. Confirmation of their quality. At least the understudies have a chance to shine. COYP

MOTM for me by a mile was the referee, a great performance for Liverpool shame they can't pick him every week.

Someone said Liverpool have never lost with him on the pitch, if true you bet they would have him every week.

Yeah I think it was a bit of a giveaway when he came out in a red shirt.

The problem on this is that only our best 13/14 all playing regular have teams worse than them. We have rarely if at all come near to this , and unless something big happens in the market January , we have to accept , to say any teams are worse than us is pushing the boat out, with out paddles. Our form now, the last month or so , is relegation form by any standard applied.

The three key referring decisions were the first penalty, correctly not given, second penalty, correct, although i am surprised he gave it, Ayew sending off totally wrong, first card a joke, second was a yellow for Palace, not for the Scousers

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Bournemouth won 3-0, there was a fourth goal that was vared off,it seemed to take awhile for Var to ruminate over the decision.Var is obviously steam powered as i made a cuppa tea and was back in my seat by the time the decision was finalised.

Ayew was removed from the action after a receiving a second yellow card.To my mind, the Ayew challenge was a foul and he only got a Yellow as it was deemed to stop a counter-attack.
