I knew a guy who's long passed away who's name was William not unusual in itself but his surname was Williams.

I was on a cruise liner and engaged in conversation with a gentleman who introduced himself as 'Archibald'. He insisted that he does not take kindly to being called 'Archie'.

Frank Zappa's kid was known as Moon Unit 2 or something like that Zowie Bowie was another now known as David Jones. Why would you saddle your kid with a stupid name.
