Edited by Palace Old Geezer (31 Oct 2023 10.24am) you would surely be disappointed. Just another David Koresh with jumped up ideas about who his dad really is. By the way, DK was also born of a teenage single mother. and to this day, some of DK's followers believe him the Lamb who was martyred and now reigns in Heaven. RiP Vernon Howell. Edited by PalazioVecchio (01 Nov 2023 3.44pm) I'm not sure I'd be disappointed Palazio. I'm more inclined towards the view that JC was more of a David Koresh type. Wouldn't it be fascinating though? To see if his words stacked up with all the subsequent writings and hype that became such a huge religion and faith for so many.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I'd like to be in the Gunpowder gang. Obviously clued-up on how not to get caught and with a few trusty Bic lighters, it's bound to end with a bang.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Mark Twain. Time Travel.......i would like to observe the build-up & aftermath of the Battle of Tollense. Approximately 3,200 years ago. It would be particularly interesting to figure out the languages of the Belligerents. Maybe it was Proto-Celtic versus Proto-Germanic. We will never know. Europe's Oldest Battlefield Site.

I missed the play off final as I was sitting an important exam the same day and time. :-( I remember feeling physically sick that morning with the nerves of both the exam and the game. Managed to finish the exam and leg it to the nearest pub for the extra time. Would love to go back and be at the game. I am also fascinated by the battle of Hastings in 1066 would love to go back and witness it. I've been to the battlefield and been to Normandy to see the bayeux tapestry. I see JC as more of a Gandhi or a Mandela figure, certainly not the son of God, maybe a Alien

I fancy going back to Cromwell's time - he banned Christmas and dancing so he's OK with me.

I struggle with the concept of travelling forward in time, for how can you go to 'something' that hasn't happened yet. Like when I was a kid; how could you read next week's Shoot! magazine before it was printed. Travel backwards in time; no problem!

But you’re assuming it hasn’t happened yet, there are infinite dimensions and timelines we have yet to discover, some of which may be further into the future than we are Yes I know I’ve been watching too much sci fi and I’m talking complete bollox
