But with my glass half full head on(for a change) we’re pretty good against teams around or below us(yes I know we’re all on 0 at the moment ) we’ve got Eze and Edouard is on a roll, he’s got one on the trot

Good point. In fact if you look at the current table, we are 8th and they are 17th, so bring it on!!!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

In our favour is the fact that they have lost a couple of key players in Ndiaye and Berge so that'll have an impact.

They have also lost Man City loanees Doyle and Mc'Atee who were key players in their promotion push . T

Add to that they've apparently got EIGHT players on the injury list, so it's anyone's guess what kind of team they can pull together. We should win comfortably even without Olise, if we don't, it doesn't bode well for the coming season.

Same as me, they’ve got problems apparently, they’ve sold their two best players with no new ones coming in because the owner wants out

EDIT: I’m a liar, they’ve just signed someone

Impressive optimism is being demonstrated on this thread. I hope we haven't all forgotten that we won't have Zaha and Olisé, that our striker options are crap and that our full-backs can be decidedly dodgy, particularly at set pieces. Just saying!

If it had just been one of Olise and Zaha that we were missing then I think it would have been okay. Without both I am a bit concerned.

I think if Palace keep a clean sheet for 25 mins we will win this game 2-1 with Edouard scoring before halftime and Eze making it 2-0 before John Egan making it squeaky bum time with 10 mins to go.

Sheffield to score on 90 minutes then

According to the bookies, the odds for Palace to win (roughly 6/4) are significantly shorter than for a home win or a draw. Yesterday I saw a bookmaker offering Sheffield at 5/2.

Elsewhere, Burnley are 19/2 to win at home to ManC while Luton Town are 10/1 to win at Arsenal.

My mistake. I meant Brighton. Luton 10/1 to win at Brighton.

Forest play at Arsenal and are 17/1 to win!

Bar Olise we have the same team that finished last season very strongly.

Might be of interest. ‘HITC sevens’, a reputable YouTube content creator, on Saturdays opposition.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

SheffUtd are favourites for the quick drop so we are expected to win. However ou lack of a decent striker will make it difficult. Hopefully 0-1.
