Only 41 players in the history of the Premier League have hit 20 league goals, and more than half of these were at the big six clubs.

Not necessarily disagreeing with your assessment that Nketiah could be a good signing, but I never get the broader point of 20 goals being the barometer of a good striker... they barely exist in our end of the market.

Nketiah looked very good when Jesus first got injured giving Nketiah his opportunity for a run in the team.
However, this was at a time when Arsenal were playing very well and with confidence and in a sense it made it easier for him to look threatening and get his goals.
When Arsenal’s form dropped so did Nketiah’s and I would question whether he would have the attributes to dig a struggling team (which we sometimes are ) out of a hole.

I’ve liked the fairly limited viewings I’ve had of Nelson but could see the attraction if Zaha departs.
Nelson is pacy, favours the left hand side and has a decent shot on him.
He’s not going to get in the Arsenal team ahead of Martinelli or Trossard so his career is at something of a crossroads in particular as he is now in his early twenties.
I suppose it’s a question of whether Zaha departs and what the deal would be for Nelson.

Does Dougie have your contact details!?

I my opinion he will be an outstanding striker who if he goes any premier club and plays will score 15/20 and be in the England squad, i hope its us.

Agreed. You're normally on the button Lanzo.
Although I would love to get him and think he would fit well, I would much rather keep Guehi and get Nkletiah on loan. If we want to guarantee our status as a Premier mid table we need Guehi and Anderson to stay put.
Come on Blitzer, step up just this once. you're not here for long. Make south london very happy.

Although i can see some sense i don't think Holding is any good and Arsenal really struggled when he came in for the injured Saliba.

Very kind, thank you, yes, loan with option to buy would be good, it would maybe make Nelson sign on a free if Nketiah is going to come.

Rumours of Nketiah to Palace starting again. Would people be happy if we signed him? I would

I’d have him at Palace. It’s his youth record that stands out the most…if he realises his potential, we’d have a very good player.

He's dropped down the pecking order with Havertz's arrival and he's not getting any younger (now 24). He needs to accept that he doesn't have a future at Arsenal and bite the bullet. I'd have him BUT I'm not sure he sees us as a big enough club for his oversized ego. If he's prepared to come, though, I'd take him at the right price or even on loan with buy option.

PS. Would like Nelson from Arsenal as well

Nketia, yes. Nelson yes. Holding no. None of my Arsenal mates rate him at all and were convinced they were going to struggle when he was in the lineup.

Both Nketia and Nelson need to move on for the sake of their own careers. We would be perfect for both imo

In the case of Nketia, not sure how his new contract and £100k pw may complicate things for Palace
