This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

For reasons unknown to me Totnes is one of the places where it is sold and where the BBC reporter went to interview someone impacted by it. It is also a place I know quite well as I lived there for a while 50 years ago. My eldest was born in the hospital there.

Edited by georgenorman (13 Jun 2023 12.26pm) Probably as a consequence of the nearby Dartington Hall College, which is famous for promoting such ideas.

I made no insinuations at all. I asked questions. Whether anyone chooses to respond is up to them alone/ That some do with a degree of anger and outrage suggests a nerve or two might have been touched. As I said, until today I was unaware of the existence of "The Light" and have never seen it on sale, although I was in Totnes not long ago. I just wondered if anyone else was aware of it before and, if so, whether it was used as a source. Always playing the innocent. No one is fooled. Since I'm a normal regular person doing regular person things, I have no idea about some far right wing newspaper. My views are held by many other regular people. The same sort of people who won the Brexit vote and toppled the Red Wall. I won't take long to explain...unless they are as stupid as someone like you.

It's you who is fooled. You are fooling yourself. You are very far from a "normal regular person". Such people don't believe in things like "The Great Replacement" theory or bang on about whiteness and immigration in everything they write. You are part of the sizeable minority who are out of touch with the modern world and how it impacts us, along with everywhere else. I am glad though to know you haven't encountered this newspaper as that means its spread is limited, even if some of its ideas are only too familiar.

Far Right fanatics are normally morons, but even a broken clock is right twice a day. What's easy to demonstrate is that such an extrapolation is an inaccurate way of predicting a future in which so many variables exist. Drawing straight lines is easy. The trouble is that the path isn't straight. It's full of twists, turns and forks in the road.
