Hegel said that a revolution can only usher out a tired old regime AFTER the new regime has emerged......so

- Wheelchair Lives Matter
- Wave a colourful flag ( tba ) for Neurodiversity

- Save the dying species that are getting done in this current Mass Extinction

- Fight against the Inequalities experienced by short men, bald men, and poor men.

- Elderly's are Welcome here

----------------------------------

.....of course to replace Woke with 'asleep' will never happen

June isn't here for another 24 hours & we're already being bombarded with Gay Pride Month (remember when it was just a weekend?)
I don't particularly have an issue with it per se in fact I actually do pretty well out of it financially. What sticks in my craw is the constant bombardment of propaganda that goes with it & if you actually have any opposing thoughts about it then you are immediately ostracised & cancelled one case that springs to mind is the Toronto Jays Pitcher. You could tell in his apology video that he had been told in know uncertain terms to tow the line he actually looked to me like an ISIS Hostage telling friends & family that he was ok when he patently wasn;t

June is pride month, yet London's pride march is on 1st July.

Anyway...

I had the misfortune of having BBC's Football Focus on the telly earlier.

As it's the first FA Cup Final to be held in June, and June is pride month, they just had to have a piece about lgbtq and the cup final...

What started as a plea for tolerance and fairness became a demand for your celebration and censorship and even punishment of non approval.

The slippery slope is real.

Where does this slippery slope end up though? In a bit of rhetoric on social media and not much else? No one is harmed by it or even directly affected unless you choose to be. You can ignore it all if you want to. No one is punished for "non-approval"!

Compared to the slippery slope that a drift to the right presents this is a pussy of a threat. It's just offensive to those who dislike the kind of social progress it represents and nothing real at all.

We need more than a drift to the right, we need a complete change of direction to the right.

They have been if they verbalised opposition to the alphabet idealogies. People have been excluded from jobs and sacked from them.

It stands in direct opposition to have the right treated the left in the past, because the right only cared about someone's merit at a job and far less about someone's ideology.

Yep, we need social conservativism.

Policy that actually relate to improving the social metrics, not worsening them and then somehow calling that progress.

Provide some evidence for that assertion. I think it's a popular right-wing myth. People can hold whatever opinions they want but when employed they cannot behave as they want. They are required to abide by their employer's terms and conditions. I expect that any dismissals are for breaches of them and not because they hold any particular opinion. Repeatedly mouthing off about many things will get you sacked.

Authoritarian right-wing control is much more a real threat.

I agree, but it's not actually what you believe in.

I believe in a conservative approach to fiscal policy, balanced books and a strong currency and self-sufficiency in as many services as possible.

Alongside a responsible, caring social policy towards the less fortunate.

You believe in what was, not what is or what will be.

Hang on, you can't say it's a myth and then in the same paragraph say that if terms and conditions stop people from expressing opposition to political agendas then it's fine to sack them.

The people who created those terms and conditions are exactly the people I'm referring to. When the direction of travel only goes one way it's not an accident.

Like I said, the right did not do this to the left.....the right care about merit, not your politics.....All the left do is pull the ladder up once in position.

One such case has literally just been in the news....perhaps your ignorance indicative of your lack of touch with reality.

Fiscal conservativism is not social conservativism.

However, I guess if you stopped talking about things you're ignorant about you'd barely post.

Don't tell me what I believe old bean.

When Jo Brand said on a BBC show, in reference to milk being thrown at Nigel Farage, “Why bother with a milkshake when you could get some battery acid?”, she was supported by the BBC and continued broadcasting for them. Whereas Carol Thatcher was cancelled and they never had her work for them again merely for referencing a jam label in connection with a blackman's hair cut.
