What a performance from Forest they have deserved their survival unlike Everton. Why? Other than for the simple fact that they've got more points in which case they deserve it more than Southampton, Leicester... I find it odd that fans of a club who have seen administration twice in the past 25 years would be encouraging their financial approach. The season they got promoted, Forest lost £50m on a turnover of £30m. This season they've spent £200m in transfer fees, bringing in only £5m. That's before considering anything around around free transfer signing on fees for the likes of Jesse Lingard, salary and fees for loan signings such as Keylor Navas, or their increased wage bill which now covers so many players they can't register them all. They've stayed up - the gamble has paid off. Come the end of the season, it may be that a dreadful Wilf Zaha penalty was the difference between their survival and relegation - a relegation that would have left them horrendously exposed financially. Bournemouth and Fulham have taken a far more commendable approach to this season.

Yes I wanted then to stay up, I remember the great team that won the European Cup two years on the trot. Back in the day when there was hardly any foreigners in our teams, so it did feel like they were representing our country in Europe. Plus dispute being a complete nutter, Brian Clough was a tough man to dislike, a true character and what him and that Forest team achieved back then was incredible

Playing Forest as our last game does yield another opportunity to persue interest in Cooper. I hope it's true and I hope it happens

At Swansea, the club finished 6th in his first season (They finished 10th in the previous season under Graham Potter) and 4th in his second and last season. The following season they finished 15th. He joined Nottm Forest last season after 8 games with the club second from bottom and they finished 4th and got promoted to the PL via the play-offs.
