Fair play mate you're braver than me. Newcastle away is a good effort any time let alone in the week. I wonder how some of them find the dough to get there or whether they just jib it.

I honestly thought they might be Uni students studying up there however recognised it as unlikely.

I must admit I was visiting and with family who outside of my brother, father and I support Millwall and there would be no doubt or mystery surrounding that if you met them. Only the four of us but I was genuinely angered by these kids’ behaviour, I used the words ‘embarrassing’ and ‘muggy’ several times in my rant and given my intended audience, I held little concern for a dozen or so poorly behaved kids imitating that they’ve seen in media. Must also add we had a good laugh with some of Newcastle’s staff and security up there pre-match who were all fantastic and accommodating, so that added fuel to my ire. Not always the experience.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I was near the area and it seemed like normal fans rather than trouble makers that were getting annoyed as just couldn't sit in the seat they had booked.

I'd be quite p1ssed off too if i'd turned up to only to find their drum was where i was meant to be sitting (as it took up 2 seats in front of the drummer).

Well done on being totally oblivious to everything that's going on.

And the HF get away sections to purposely avoid sitting in others seat's, as if they would get a hundred seat section and then choose to put their drum on someone else's seat... Good grief.

I do not understand why the HF get blamed for everything , without them our atmosphere would be nothing

I’ve sat with them when I had season ticket in block b and everyone I saw and spoke to were good lads , ok maybe one or two lads trying to be something they are not , but the HF original lads are top blokes

why, thank you. Can only call it as I saw it. Sat next to the stairs on the next block and can only say how it appeared to me and although i don't go to many away games anymore, it does seem to be a regular occurence at the ones i do attend.

Please, if i am wrong do correct me but can only comment on what I see or how it appears to me.

As for being "oblivious" it's probably cos i don't pay too much attention as I don't really care that much.

Elsewhere a fairly positive response to our away support from Southampton supporters.

Reading the bbs, you are wrong. Fighting in a park before the game. Then some middle aged men abused and attacked some young black HF members. This from various sources. I know HF have a reputation but not sure on this occasion they were in the wrong

It would also be a little odd that the HF, who have a specific area reserved for them, would use somebody elses seat for the drum.

Potentially a few hangers on trying to be near them could be a possiblity of nicking peoples seats, but struggle to understand why they'd take up extra space for the drum. Could be wrong, but feels a little off.

Surely convictions must be possible and then we can find out what really happened. Loads of witnesses, allocated seating, CCTV and smart phones. It will require a high degree of incompetence to not find a door to knock on.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

The HF make me sick. Act all tough like they are Italian Ultras.
They wont protest against Parrish though as they like being seen with him in his flash motor. Would love to see them have a scrap with proper firms like West Ham, Millwall etc they would be crying for their Mums the mugs.

Really? Do others share this view, because that's not my impression of the HF at all? On the contrary, whatever you think of them I wouldn't say they try to present themselves as hard men or ultras in the Italian hooligan style. Maybe I'm missing something.

Also, I go to the majority of away games and I've seen more trouble and a more intimidating atmosphere at Selhurst than I have elsewhere. My guess is that the HF's high profile makes them a target for other Palace supporters as much as it does away fans (and your post seems in a way to confirm this).

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

This is spot on , if people can’t see what the HF have done to our support , they are either jealous , or prawn sandwich eaters in my opinion ,

Why dont they protest against our crap ownership then?
The Everton fans do and other clubs have in the past.
They are too pally with Parrish and scared of him.
Total pussies.
