He was my motm yesterday despite Eze's brace. He was one of the only bright spots in the first half when most of the other players seemed half asleep. Also he took out JWP at one point with a tackle that was probably unnecessary, but highly enjoyable. Maybe his improvement is as simple as him being able to perform better on the left? Dowie pointed out in his commentary that this is where he plays for Ghana and he actually scores for them. It would make sense. You can never question his effort, but for a forward his finishing has been pretty awful his entire Palace career despite that one good season.

Totally agree with this And me. Edouard offers so little in any area of the pitch. Summed up when Ward bust a gut to get to the ball on the by-line, got it across for a tap-in for anyone running into the six yard box, but if you watch the replays, Edouard was up with play, but slowed down to a jog when he reached the area. Unfortunately he scored a goal last week which bought him another game, but surely Ayew or JPM gets to start CF against Everton.

He is the son of Pele. So he has good genes.

Another thing that’s so useful is his ability to win free kicks when we are under pressure which buys time and the chance to reset. It’s not for nothing he is often double marked. He is feeling more of a goal threat now too. In the past you knew he would miss. Now you sense he feels more confident. He truly is an unsung hero. I just wish he would smile more then it would be easier for people to warm to him.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

That's his trademark and I always have to laugh when I see his sad face after a win etc. One who, as they say in German, goes to the cellar to laugh. The best was his congratulations to Olize after the late equaliser against ManU. You'd have thought one friend was condoling another at his wife's funeral.

I too have been critical Of Ayew who used to really frustrate me. But fair play to him he is really shining under Roy. Well done Jordan keep it up.
