This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

The bottom line is, we wouldn’t still be in the Premier without them. Yes they aren’t investing all their wealth behind Palace, but without Parish would be sunk, as the 3 others from CPFC2010 wanted out. It's not simply about money though. How often have they been spotted at games or visiting the training grounds, or meeting up with Parish? Frankly they're not that interested.

Sheikh Mansour attended his first Man City game the Champions League final in 2 years. Owners are busy people with a lot of business interests. It makes no difference at all if foreign owners attend matches, its all about money.

If they wanted to get rid of him, they could. Having achieved 11 consecutive years in the EPL is no mean feat. Harris and Blitzer recognise this, I'm not sure Textor does. I'm pretty sure part of his compensation package is re-invested back into the club.

I don't believe Parish is an obstacle to buying the club in fact the opposite. If I was a billionaire I would not have time to run the club so I would be looking for someone with experience and who better than Parish. Yes he get's paid but considering we have had 11 years in the PL it's a bargain. Any potential buyer would do well to ensure he at least stayed for some time to ensure continuity.

I read in the Athletic in some Palace story about one of them visiting the academy with Parish not so long ago. Now and then I see them in the directors box on TV near Parish as well, they must have the occasional visit I think they care more than we think and they've covered our losses (especially through Covid) but Parish calls the shots and they'll always be happy to stay in the background. Textor, my guess is not so much

I don't think that it's running the club that is the obstacle but the skewed voting rights and whilst a new purchaser may be sensible to allow him to run the club they wouldn't want him to have voting control

According to rumours Harris and Blitzer want out of the club so are not keen on putting more money in and Textor has over stretched himself with his other clubs. So is Parish the problem or is it the others? Who knows.
