Is he American or Irish, doesn't he know? ... He's highly unimpressive but aren't most politicians these days? There seems to be a proliferation sourced from the bottom of the barrel. Stay at home Joe and keep your carers nearby.

The British like to talk about their 'special relationship' but the Irish actually live it. If America has called time on us, it should not be surprising as our decline is very obvious and self-inflicted.

America, with Biden in charge, are becoming a laughing stock, their decline is obvious and self inflicted. The voted in a senile idiot

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

IMO Biden's gaffe was nothing to do with a knowledge of history, it's all to do with a senile old man who is confused most of the time and unless reading a script likely to make this kind of error. The way his minders are terrified of letting him answer off the cuff questions supports this idea. The idea of him running for a second term is baffling unless you consider it as a way his entourage can see to avoiding accountability for Biden Inc , dodgy deals etc etc

The special relationship is a one sided deal the US spends it's time wooing EU countries and often marginalising the UK. However when the fighting has to be done suddenly we are besties and the EU are nowhere. We need to stand firm like Wilson did in the sixties we are not a tearful teenager girl waiting by her phone in the hope that "he" calls. We should be friends with the US but on our terms as to the fighting I am sick of seeing body bags come back whilst the US makes billions. Armed neutrality would be my foreign policy, you leave us alone we do the same. Works for plenty of other countries. Edited by Badger11 (14 Apr 2023 8.08am)

On why Biden was voted in, entirely down to the opponent. He could have been an actual donkey and would still have won.
