Still reckon he's exactly the sort of player we should be considering. Still young (22), has lost his way but undoubtedly has/had potential and presumably nowhere near as expensive as he once would have been.

Might come here and do nothing, or Roy might sort him out like he has done with Eze and suddenly we have a player on our hands.

Yeah good point.

Lad is from Wandsworth too. He'd be close to home, playing in a settled PL side with some ambition (others may disagree!) and he'd be part of a similar cohort there with the likes of Olise, Marc, Mitchell, Ebz etc.

All round would make some sense but I doubt it.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

100%

At the monies discussed c.£15m and 100k I think it makes sense. Tonnes of natural talent, and we've got demonstrable evidence of helping players improve. Especially Chelsea ones, RLC, Gallagher both having their best seasons with us.

Might sound crazy, but I'd take a gamble on this guy, over Wilf at 200k for 4 years

If we can get him for 15m and an acceptable wage on a five year contract, and he regains his old form, could be worth 80m in two years, i would certainly take the gamble.

Didn't he have some debilitating illness from which he struggled to recover. Didn't same happen to Edouard

I totally agree. We are just what the boy needs to kick start his career away from the glaring light of a top 6 club.

I do wonder if we have seen the best of Wilf, hope I'm wrong regardless of whether he stays with us or not.

Metro has report that AC Milan are now interested.

I would suspect that would be his preferred destination, given their status and that RLC has just gone there.

I saw that as well BUT will he get sufficient game time there? He wants regular football so needs to go to a club that has a shortage in the position(s) he can play. I have no idea if Milan fits that bill. They may simply want to boost their squad so as to have cover for a domestic league and Champions League campaign. IN other words, moving from Chelsea to Milan may be a case of out of the frying pan into the fire for both him and RLC.

Or it is a Chelsea fire sale and they were told they HAD to go; and this destination offered them the best money and European football.

I imagine they would prefer to play 1st XI and will set out their aim to achieve that. However, failing that, rotation/bench is a well paid 2nd best.

Either way, probably a move with more cache than coming to Palace which anyone would consider a lower order than AC Milan, despite the Prem/London/starter issues.
